Indonesia-native, UK-educated, US-based. 

Rio Tuasikal has been working as a broadcast journalist for 10 years. His journalism focuses on politics and climate in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. 

Prior to his role with Voice of America, Rio had worked with Pulitzer Center, BBC World Service, the Gecko Project, and many more. 

He earned MA from Goldsmiths, University of London, where he studied the connection between society, tech, and capitalism.
