This Woman Searches for Disappeared Husband

Shui Meng has spent three years searching for his husband, Sombath Somphone.

Sombath Somphone was recently awarded with the Special Award for Human Rights in Gwangju, South Korea. He went missing mysteriously in 2012 – many suspect he was forcibly disappeared because of his work empowering communities across Laos. International human rights groups have appealed to the government to investigate the case.
