"Bataknese are rude,
Sundanese are indecisive,
Javanese are insincere etc."
Those sayings are very familiar in our daily conversations. People make certain assumptions to other people. They assume a person has certain characters depends on his (or her) culture. There are a lot of such thing out there---and that's not a good idea in intercultural communication.
